We refer to Mistral as our “Mid-Range” variety (15% CBD, 0.3%-0.6%THC) and our “Flagship” seed line for its consistency. Mistral was created by crossing our standout BaOx cut to our Cherry Wine F1 male. From this union, we found multiple outstanding results choosing this 15% CBD, 7 week, heavy yielding female for its outstanding characteristics. The female was then selfed to create our feminized line resulting in very consistent phenotypes and cannabinoid profiles.
Similar to BaOx, our Mistral line has three (3) distinct types of plants that are all similar in yield but differ in color. Green and burgundy plants dominate with the occasional full purple plants as well. The nose on these varies from musty cherry to sweet bubblegum to more distinct berry notes. Our composite testing showed Mistral to be over 0.3% at full maturity but very consistent cannabinoid levels across the board. Expect Mistral to finish middle of September to early October in Colorado and similar geographic locations.
Note: While Mistral is easy to grow, it requires an experienced grower to properly manage the “Harvest Window” in order to ensure federal and local compliance. While we provide as much data on the varieties as possible, your experience may vary from our numbers and will require the understanding that the “Harvest Window” will vary depending on numerous factors. It is the responsibility of the grower to monitor and test to ensure compliance.
